Performance and charging

Performance-wise, the 2023 Nissan Leaf still carries the same single electric motor with front-wheel-drive just like the previous generations that produces 150PS and 320Nm of torque. This translates to a pretty speedy 0-100km/h time of 7.9 seconds and a modest top speed of 155km/h. As for the driving range, the Nissan Leaf is able to cover a maximum of 311km (NEDC).

The 40kWh battery pack can be charged via the fast charging CHAdeMO DC port up to 50kW. Full charge can be completed in just 1 hour. Alternatively, there’s also the AC Type 2 charging port that allows a maximum of 6.6kW which translates to 7 hours till full charge. An AC 3-pin charger (3.6kW) comes together with the car, but that will require 12 hours of your time to get it fully charged.

Sleek exterior with 7 colour options

Consumers are spoilt for choice when it comes to colour options, with seven two-tone colours to select: Stealth Grey, Akatsuki Sunrise Copper, Opera Mauve, Vivid Blue, Midnight Black, Burgundy and Pure White Pearl.

The 2023 Nissan Leaf features a number of exterior upgrades that give it a more modern and aerodynamic look. The front grille has been redesigned with a full black aero finish, giving the car a sleek and sporty appearance. The lower bumper and headlights have also been refreshed with a new design that enhances the car's overall aesthetic. The new 17-inch 5-spoke wheels add to the Leaf's modern look and both the illuminated front and rear Nissan logos have been updated to give the car a more premium feel.
