2022 Volkswagen Passat R-Line Launched - From RM213k

Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia has launched the new 2022 Volkswagen Passat R-Line, with more power and more premium features. 

The highlights of the 2022 Passat R-Line are: 

• Increased output of 220 PS and 350 Nm of torque
• Harman Kardon 700W audio system
• New color option, Scale Silver

The most discernible difference in the 2022 Passat R-Line will be the increase in power. Power is bumped up from 190 PS to 220 PS whilst torque sees an increase from 320 Nm to 350 Nm compared to the Passat Elegance. 

The powertrain remains the same 2.0 TSI turbocharged engine that is paired to a 6-speed DSG with DCC (Dynamic Chassis Control). 

On a more audible note, a premium Harman Kardon sound system will definitely provide for a very immersive, high-fidelity audio journey every time you step into the Passat. There are 12-speakers, coupled with a 700W amplifier to make sure your Spotify Top Songs of 2021 continues to provide you aural pleasure as you sit in traffic or cruise on the highways. 

The haptic touch air-con, both simple and intuitive to use as found on the Arteon, is another advancement on the 2022 Passat R-Line. 

Locally assembled in Pekan, Pahang, the 2022 Passat R-Line will come in one unique new color, Scale Silver besides four other color options: Aquamarine Blue, Manganese Grey, Deep Black and Oryx White. It will be the second model in Malaysia to come with the new Volkswagen logo.

The 2022 Passat R-Line is priced from RM212,938.88 OTR with the current SST exemptions and comes with 3-years free maintenance, 5-years unlimited mileage warranty, and 5-years roadside assistance.
