2021 Subaru Forester GT Lite Edition Launched - RM163,788

TC Subaru Sdn Bhd has just launched the lite version of the Subaru Forester GT - for those looking for a Forester with the swagger but minus its EyeSight safety system. 

The Subaru Forester GT Edition was launched in June of last year at RM177,788. This gave it an RM8,000 premium over the Subaru Forester 2.0i-S. The Subaru Forester GT Lite comes in as the cheapest among the trio at RM163,788. (OTR excluding insurance)

Powertrain:

• 2.0 litre naturally-aspirated boxer four-cylinder (FB20)
• 156 PS at 6,000 rpm
• 196 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm

Power is transferred to the wheels via a Lineartronic CVT. The Subaru Forester GT Lite comes equipped with Subaru's Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive. Two drive modes are available, Intelligent and Sport via SI-Drive (Subaru Intelligent Drive).

Hill Descent Control, Active Torque Vectoring and X-Mode with two modes: Snow and Dirt also come standard. 

Exterior:

The GT Lite will come replete with the GT Full Body Kit and the GT Exhaust cutter.

Warranty:

The Forester GT Lite Edition comes with a 5-year/ 100,000km warranty.
