2018 Audi A8 Interior To Be Almost Button-Free

Audi will be unveiling the all-new 2018 A8 in the next couple of hours. The company earlier teased the new Audi A8 here. 

Head of Audi Design Marc Lichte recently spoke about the new Audi A8's interior, stating that the new Audi is the company's first production model to feature its future design language and reflects the progressive face of the brand.

Lichte also established that the new A8's interior will be relatively free of buttons. "There will be hardly any buttons or switches here in the new A8," he said. He also added that the company developed a new operating concept featuring a touch screen that is integrated into the black panel surface of the interior, blending it in nicely.

In the teaser released by the company, the upcoming Audi A8 has the same Virtual Cockpit digital instrument cluster as its stablemates. On top of that, the teaser also showcased rear displays integrated into the head rests for rear passengers.

The all-new 2018 Audi A8 will be officiated later today at the Audi Summit in Barcelona, Spain.
