A unit of the range-topping Camry Hybrid Luxury variant is currently on display at the Stop the Crash ASEAN 2016 event happening at Sepang International Circuit on 29-30 November 2016.A re-organized line-up sees the Camry Hybrid Luxury carrying on from where the existing model currently resides; the Camry Hybrid Premium is added to the range as a more affordable option with some equipment removed.Visually, the new Camry Hybrid Luxury can be differentiated from the existing variant by the less drastic colour scheme of its 17-inch alloy wheels. It is otherwise identical to the existing Camry Hybrid.The 2.0-litre variants receive substantial upgrades, notably the well-overdue standardization of seven airbags and electronic stability control across the range. As before, the range starts with the 2.0E as the base model, whilst the 2.0G from before is now redesignated as the 2.0GX.Engines are unchanged from before. Powering the 2.0-litre variants is the 6AR-FSE four-cylinder petrol engine pushing out 167PS and 199Nm. Equipped with VVT-iW and dual injection, this is the most advanced 2.0-litre NA four-cylinder petrol engine in the market.
