2017 Perodua Axia Facelift Now Open for Booking

After much anticipation, Perodua has announced the introduction of the facelifted Axia, which now comes fitted with a 1.0-litre engine with Variable Valve Timing with intelligence (VVT-I) technology. 

According to Perodua, the new engine has further improved the Axia’s fuel efficiency readings from 21.6Km/L to 22.5Km/L.

Other improvements include a new front grille, bumper; backdoor handle; a new seat fabric design; redesigned projector headlamps, as well as an updated entertainment system which comes standard with USB connectivity.

As for the Axia SE and Advance variants; improvements include a push start button; smart entry with smart key; multimedia system with ‘Smart Link’ (for android only); new design projector headlamps; new chrome door outer handles; spiral design alloy wheels; backdoor handle; new seat fabric design (for SE); as well as meter-combi with new white illumination.

Having sold 214,700 Axias since it was launched in September 2014, Perodua said that aims to sell 6,000 units a month.

While the standard Axia is offered in five colours, the SE and Advance Version variants have two additional colours - Solid Sunflower Yellow and Metallic Lava Red.

That said, price for the new Perodua Axia variant begins from RM 24,900 for the Standard-E (manual) and goes up to RM42, 900 for the Advance (auto).

On another note, Perodua is also inviting customers to come to the biggest Perodua carnival event called ‘MYPerodua Nation’, which will be held from 20 to 22nd January 2017 at AEON Mall Shah Alam (outdoor car park).
