2017 Lotus Evora Sport 410 Launched In Malaysia, Priced From RM640,999

Lotus Cars Malaysia has unveiled an even hotter variant of the Evora called the Evora Sport 410. Just over a year ago, the company released the Evora 400.

Versus the earlier mentioned Evora 400, the new Evora Sport 410 is 70 kg lighter thanks to extensive carbon fibre utilization.

Power is derived from a 3.5-litre supercharged V6 that does 410 hp and 420 Nm, which sends drive to the rear wheels via a choice of a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic. Lotus says that the manual completes the century sprint in 4.1 seconds before reaching a top speed of 300 km/h. The automatic variant completes the same sprint in 4.2 seconds, with top speed rated at 280 km/h.

As mentioned earlier, carbon fibre is used extensively, both inside and outside. The rear diffuser, front splitter, tailgate with integrated rear spoiler roof panel and front access panel is made out of carbon fibre. Michelin Pilot Sport tyres come as standard fitment, with AP Racing brake calipers hiding behind the lightweight satin black forged wheels. Other standard equipment include bi-xenon headlights, LED DRLs, oval exhaust finisher, rear parking sensors and a remote activated alarm system with immobilizer.

Buyers have an extensive list of options to choose from, including:

Lotus Cars Malaysia said that the new Evora Sport 410 will see a base price of RM640,999 for the manual and RM651,999 for the automatic. Production is capped to 150 units annually.
