2017 Kia Rio Set For Indonesian Debut Soon
Auto NewsPT Kia Mobil Indonesia (KMI) is set to debut the fourth-generation Kia Rio in Indonesia later this month.
According to Lawindri Liu, Public Relations Manager & Customer Relations Manager at Kia Mobil Indonesia, the company will introduce the fourth-generation model on 21 April.
Currently, the outgoing Kia Rio is powered by a 1.4-litre engine that does 107 hp and 153 Nm. Buyers in Indonesia can choose between a six-speed manual. No word on what powertrain combination will be fitted to the upcoming model.
We understood that the new Kia Rio is also destined for Malaysian soil, though it is currently unknown what powertrain combination will be offered. Naza Kia plans to push sales up by another 25% this year with the introduction of several new models this year. The company unveiled the Kia Grand Carnival back in March.
