2017 Honda Jazz Facelift Spotted Ahead Of DRIVE
Auto NewsHonda's upcoming Jazz facelift has been spotted ahead of this weekend's DRIVE event at the Setia City Convention Centre in Setia Alam.
Similar to the Toyota C-HR, the Honda Jazz is also still under covers. We noticed that this could be the hybrid variant as Honda Malaysia mentioned that the Jazz Hybrid will be making its first public appearance here. Bookings for the new Honda Jazz and Jazz Hybrid were opened earlier this week.
Honda Malaysia is expected to introduce the facelifted Jazz in the second quarter of 2017, with the hybrid variant coming a little later in the third quarter of 2017. Similar to the Honda City facelift, the updated Honda Jazz is likely to receive a revised front end and rear end plus update to the equipment level.
The model to look forward to is the new Honda Jazz Hybrid. Featuring Honda's intelligent Dual-Clutch Drive (i-DCD) Hybrid System, which is full-hybrid, unlike previous-generation Jazz's IMA mild-hybrid system. The upcoming Jazz Hybrid's 1.5-litre engine will come in DOHC form, instead of the SOHC form of the regular petrol variants. Power output, according to Honda is 137 PS. Under the Japanese market JC08 test cycle, the Honda Jazz Hybrid have a claimed fuel consumption of up to 36.4 km/litre.
