Home News Auto News 2017 Honda City Facelift Launched In Malaysia – From RM78,300 2017 Honda City Facelift Launched In Malaysia – From RM78,300 Auto News Arvind | May 29, 2019 08:41 am Following the preview of the facelifted Honda City a few weeks back, Honda Malaysia have officially launched the facelifted new 2017 Honda City in Malaysia.The new City includes updated aesthetics, improved convenience features and crucially added safety equipment across the range. Mechanically, the car remains unchanged.The 2017 facelifted Honda City is available in three variants (previous S+ variant has been discontinued), price as follows:City S: RM78,300 ((RM1k reduction over previous 'S+' variant)City E: RM84,600City V: RM92,000(Prices are OTR, inclusive of GST and Insurance)What’s new?At the front, the most notable difference are the full-LED headlamps (V-grade variant only), with integrated LED daytime running lights. The front bumper also receives a refreshed look while the new chrome grille looks closer in design to the Civic C-Segment model.Along the flanks, the 2017 City sports new dual tone alloy wheels. The rear, like the front, features a new bumper design and LED tail lights. The boot lid is now finished with a ducktail spoiler with an integrated third brake light.The most substantial highlight of the new car is the inclusion of Vehicle Stability Assist, more commonly known as Electronic Stability Control (ESC) – is now available across the range. Previous, VSA was reserved only for the top-two highest E- and V-grade models. Additionally, Hill Start Assist (HSA) is also now a standard feature.Mechanically, everything remains the same. Under the hood lies Honda's proven 1.5-litre i-VTEC four-cylinder engine, which produces 120hp at 6000rpm and 145Nm of torque at 4000rpm.
