The new Honda CR-V brings premium features to a mainstream model, including Adaptive Cruise Control, digital meter cluster, LED headlights and a turbocharged engine.The company is offering four variants of the Honda CR-V. Prices below are OTR without insurance.Honda CR-V 2.0 2WD - RM142,400Honda CR-V 1.5 TC 2WD - RM155,700Honda CR-V 1.5 TC 4WD - RM161,600Honda CR-V 1.5 TC-P 2WD - RM167,700What's NewNow in its fifth iteration, the Honda CR-V now shares its platform with the all-new Honda Civic. Ground clearance is now 198 mm for the 2WD model and 208 mm for the 4WD model, a 28 mm increase over the model it replaces. Inside, the rear seats can be folded flat to reveal a boot space of up to 1,084 litres. Rear legroom has also grown by 90 mm over its predecessor. Visually, the 2017 Honda CR-V receives the company's signature solid wing face front grille surrounded by a pair of LED headlights. LED daytime running lights and LED front fog lights are also standard across the range. The new Honda CR-V is the first model in the ASEAN region to offer Honda Sensing, the company's advanced driver assistance features, like Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Low-Speed Follow (LSF), Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Road Departure Mitigation (RDM) and Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS). Honda Sensing is only available on the range-topping Honda CR-V 1.5 TC-P 2WD.Engine and TransmissionHonda has dropped its 2.4-litre i-VTEC petrol engine for its higher spec models, replacing it with a 1.5-litre VTEC Turbo engine that churns out 193 PS and 243 Nm. The entry-level Honda CR-V is powered by a 2.0-litre SOHC i-VTEC engine, carried over from the predecessor, pushing out 154 PS and 189 Nm.
