2016 Renault Koleos In Showrooms Across Malaysia; 2.5 FWD, RM178k

Following its full preview last month, the Renault Koleos is finally available for viewing in all Renault showrooms across the country.

Based upon the Renault-Nissan CMF architecture that also underpins the Nissan X-Trail T32, the Koleos is offered in the Malaysian market with only one variant being priced at RM177,917.72 (OTR with insurance) for individual private registration in Peninsular Malaysia.

Whilst sporting its own distinctive styling and upper body, the Koleos nevertheless shares a common engine-drivetrain package with the X-Trail, pairing the 2.5-litre QR25 4-cylinder petrol engine with a CVT.

Outputs are rated at 171PS and 226Nm, but unlike the all-wheel drive X-Trail 2.5, the Koleos is configured as front-wheel drive only for our market at the moment.

The all-new Koleos comes standard with the following equipment:

• R-Link 2 Multimedia System – 8.7-inch tablet-style portrait touchscreen, GPS navigation, voice recognition, Bluetooth connectivity, USB
• 6 airbags (2 frontal, 2 side, 2 curtain)
• Blind spot warning
• Anti-whiplash headrests (front & rear)
• ISOFIX (rear)
• Electronic stability control, traction control
• ABS, EBD, brake assist
• Hill start assist
• Reverse camera, all-round parking sensors.

Like all Renault mainstream vehicles, the all-new Koleos comes with a five-year full manufacturer’s warranty with unlimited mileage.
