2015 Volkswagen Beetle Bug Edition Launched In Malaysia: Only 200 Units To Be Offered, Priced From RM147k

As a homage to the iconic Volkswagen Beetle, Volkswagen Malaysia is offering customers here the chance to own limited units of the Beetle Bug Edition, with only 200 units being offered.

Priced at RM146,888 (inclusive of GST but without insurance), buyers will be able to select from five colours - Graciosa Brown, Deep Black, Pure White, Saturn Yellow and Tornado Red. But what is a Beetle Bug Edition?

Essentially, it is the Volkswagen Beetle 1.2 TSI but decked out in unique Bug Edition modifications. These include Volkswagen Bug side sills, side decals, body stripes, and Bug logo (located beneath the rear VW emblem/boot release).

Announcing this launch, Mr Armin Keller, Managing Director, Volkswagen Malaysia said, “This Beetle Bug Edition is a way for us to engage with Beetle lovers in Malaysia and provide a fun alternative to the original Beetle.”

Interested customers will be able to register for test drives and to view this variant up-close at their nearest Volkswagen authorised dealer showroom. Bookings begin in May 2015 across all Volkswagen dealerships nationwide.
