2015 Isuzu MU-X Price Confirmed At RM152k, But You Better Hurry

This morning, we showed you the full specifications list of the all-new 2015 Isuzu MU-X as we were on our test drive of the new vehicle.

Now, at an on-going press conference here, Isuzu Malaysia has finally disclosed introductory prices of the D-Max-based seven-seater SUV.

• MU-X 2.5L 4x2 (AT): RM151,944 (OTR with insurance and GST)
• MU-X 2.5L 4x4 (AT): RM164,969 (OTR with insurance and GST)

Isuzu Malaysia has announced that while test drives of the all-new MU-X are available across all showrooms beginning today, the current price is only “introductory,” and will expire come July 2015 – so you best be hurrying to book your 2015 Isuzu MU-X today. All units of the vehicle are fully-imported (CBU) from Thailand.

As disclosed this morning, both variants of the Isuzu MU-X are equipped with a 2.5-litre VGS turbo intercooler diesel engine, and paired with a five-speed automatic transmission – the MU-X won’t benefit from the 3.0-litre turbo-diesel as available on the D-Max V-Cross. Total power output produced by the powertrain combo here is 136PS and 320Nm of torque.

Both variants are specified with lots of luxury-minded items, such as full leather seats and lots of chrome detailing outside, but its the 4x4 version that expected benefits from the more premium goodies such as LED daytime running lights, various exterior and interior kit like a rear spoiler, rear DVD monitor, Blaupunkt infotainment audio system with GPS navigation and rear-view camera and more.

As with its D-Max, Isuzu Malaysia is including its three-year/ or 100,000km (whichever comes first) warranty in the price, along with its Isuzu Doctor Mobile 24-hour roadside assistance service.
