Weststar-Maxus Announces Great Deals For Raya Season

Weststar Maxus, sole distributor for the Maxus range of vehicles in Malaysia, has just announced a number of attractive deals for Ramadan and the Hari Raya season, valid up until the 31st of July. As part of its campaign, owners are also offered the opportunity to trade in their MPV for a brand new Maxus G10. In addition to this, Weststar Maxus is now offering a five-year, 120,000 kilometre warranty with two years of free service (inclusive of parts and labour) for new Maxus G10 customers. 

The Maxus G10 is a family MPV with its standout feature being the ability to carry 10 passengers without hassle, without the external footprint of something like a Ford Transit. Retailing for around RM 140,000 ringgit (now lower due to the zero rated GST), the G10 comes with a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine pushing out 225 hp and 345 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.

It is available in both G10 and G10 SE variants, with the latter being packaged with more premium features such as powered sliding doors, a panorama glass roof, 18-inch alloy wheels, a 360-degree camera, a 220V 3-pin power supply, and touch-screen infotainment. 

Also worth noting is that from now until the implementation of SST (sales and service tax), both the Maxus G10 and Maxus V80 are being offered with zero percent GST. Like many other companies, they are taking full advantage of the reduction in tax and passing it on to their customers.
