In June this year, the Ford GT racer was unveiled, which marked the Blue Oval’s return to the highly competitive 24 Hours of Le Mans endurance race in 2016.

However, before the racer made its public debut then, Ford has been busy performing secret shakedowns of the Ford GT race car that you’re are seeing in this video released by them.

Here, we get to watch the blue-white-red GT in action as it is put through its paces, all the while producing glorious sounds from its 3.5-litre twin-turbocharged EcoBoost V6 engine. And that’s even before we get to how exquisite the thing looks, even in its production form.

Competing in the full 2016 schedules of the FIA World Endurance Championship and Tudor United Sports Car Championship, with a total of four GT race cars expected to go up against the Ferraris, Porsches, and Corvettes at Le Mans.
