VPCM Welcomes 46 New Graduates From The Volkswagen Automotive Academy

It's always great to see a new batch of bright-eyed graduates joining the workforce. Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) recently held the graduation ceremony for 20 sales and 26 aftersales representatives, which would be the second batch of graduates from the Volkswagen Automotive Academy since the Academy was launched back in August of 2017.

Sales Managers from the dealer network received the Sales Management Excellence (SME) certification, whilst Sales Consultants received the International Basic Training (IBT) certification. The courses took approximately six months to a year to complete, depending on the level of certification.

Aftersales graduates received the Certified Volkswagen Service Advisors, Certified Volkswagen Master Technician, and Certified Volkswagen Diagnostic Competence certification. The technicians have had to undergo basic and advanced qualification modules which span over two to three years before completion.

The category of Master Technician is the highest level within the technician category, and the ceremony saw seven graduates joining the ranks.
