Volvo Car Malaysia Adds S90 T5 To Lineup – Momentum Trim, 2.0-litre Turbo Non-Hybrid, RM338,888

Volvo Car Malaysia has added the S90 T5 to its portfolio. With the introduction of the T5 variant, the S90 model range now comprises three versions:

• S90 T5 Momentum – RM338,888
• S90 T8 Twin Engine Inscription – RM366,888
• S90 T8 Twin Engine Inscription Plus – RM386,888

Powered by Volvo’s Drive-E 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine which is paired to an 8-speed automatic gearbox, output figures stand at 254 PS and 350 Nm of torque.

The powertrain package enables the S90 T5 to reach 100 km/h in 6.8 seconds while consuming 7 litres of fuel for every 100 km travelled (NEDC, combined cycle).

Like the S90 T8 Twin Engine, the S90 T5 will be equipped with the full-suite of active safety and driver- assist systems which includes City Safety which comes with pedestrian, cyclist and large animal detection, Run-off Road Mitigation with Road Edge Detection and BLIS (Blind Sport Information System) with Steer Assist.

The S90 T5 will also get Adaptive Cruise Control, Distance Alert, and the semi-autonomous drive feature, Pilot Assist which gives steering input to keep the car properly aligned within lane markings up to motorway speeds of around 130 km/h.

Clad in Momentum Trim, the S90 T5 retains the 19-inch tyre profile, but with a more aggressive wheel design – the 5-triple spoke Matt Tech Black diamond-cut alloys.

Besides that, the car also features new vertical front grilles to distinguish from the T8 Twin Engine, and round end-pipes with chrome sleeves.

Last but not least, The S90 T5 is available in six exterior colours - Crystal White, Mussel Blue, Luminous Sand, Onyx Black, Bright Silver, and Maple Brown.
