Two trailers carrying Perodua vehicles collided with each other on the NKVE

Two trailers carrying a variety of Perodua cars were involved in an accident on the NKVE.

Suppose you're one of those thousands of people waiting for your car from Perodua, in that case, this might not be some good news, as two trailers carrying a variety of Perodua vehicles were involved in a crash recently.

According to Harian Metro, two drivers were injured in the accident at Kilometer 21.3 of the New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE).

Petaling Jaya District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Mohamad Fakhrudin Abdul Hamid said the accident caused several cars being transported by the trailer to be damaged.

"The accident that happened at 1.52pm involved two trailers traveling from Perodua Rawang to Klang.

"Upon arriving at the scene of the incident, we concluded that the trailer behind collided with the lorry in front, causing damage to the cargo carried by both vehicles."

A Perodua Myvi that was on the trailer also fell and overturned at the scene of the incident, said Mohamad Fakhrudin.

The  Chief Assistant Commissioner also added that the driver who suffered head injuries was then taken to Sungai Buloh Hospital for treatment.

"Further investigations are being conducted in accordance with Section 43 of the Road Transport Act (APJ) 1987 to identify the cause of the incident."

"People who have information about the incident are asked to contact the assistant investigating officer, Sergeant Muhamad Aizuddin Awang on 0139003499 to assist with the investigation," he said.
