SPYSHOTS: Volkswagen Polo Sedan Facelift Revealed In Russia

What you’re looking at here is the facelift to the Volkswagen Polo Sedan fully revealed in Russia. The images were sourced from Russian social networking site Vkontakte via IAB. Like the refreshed Volkswagen Polo Hatchback we previously shown you, noticeable differences are apparent on the exterior of the vehicle.

Up front, there is a new grille that features three slates and the hood of the car is no longer machined to make way for the ‘VW’ badge as found in the previous model. The new fog lights also features new enclosures to match those of the Polo. Similarly, the side mirrors now features integrated signal indicators.

Moving on to the rear, the chrome strip originally found on the bottom of the boot lid now rests above the number plate enclosure. Expect interior changes to be minor including the upholstery.

The current Volkswagen Polo Sedan sold in Malaysia:

If and when the updated Volkswagen Polo Sedan does make its way into Malaysia, we should expect the same powertrain as that found in the Hatchback that is a 1.6-litre petrol and six-speed torque convertor automatic.
