SEMA 2017: BTR Edition Hyundai Elantra Sport Concept Is All Show, All Go

Hyundai will be showcasing the BTR Edition Elantra Sport Concept at the 2017 SEMA Show, co-developed with Blood Type Racing. This concept adds methanol injection, intake and exhaust modifications and an updated intercooler plus tuned suspension and full aero kit.

Starting from the exterior, the BTR Edition Elantra gets SSR GTX01 19-inch wheels wrapped in Toyo T1 Sports rubbers. Then there’s the Aerotek custom-made front, side and rear lip kit that is track-ready, with a large APR GTC-200 spoiler at the rear. The BASF Glasurit Arancio Borealis paint is done by AutoArt. Diode Dynamics custom headlights complete the exterior of the BTR Edition Elantra.

Under the bonnet lies a Torcon CAI intake and Pierce Motorsports exhaust system. Blood Type Racing also custom tuned the engine management system. Last but not least is the Devil’s Own methanol injection system, though BTR did not specify the Elantra’s final output figures.

The interior gets a re-stitched upholstery matched with diamond-stitched floor mats. A SoCalGarageWorks carbon-fibre steering wheel is also fitted to the BTR Edition Elantra.

Blood Type Racing did not leave out the handling aspect of the Elantra, as they have fitted the concept with HSD coilover suspension, Pierce Motorsport sway bars, strut tower brace and chassis brace. The big brake kit is supplied by Fella.
