Utama Berita Berita Kereta Second BRT Line Coming To Ease Federal Highway Congestion Second BRT Line Coming To Ease Federal Highway Congestion Berita Kereta Chris Aaron | October 21, 2020 04:16 PM Following the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Sunway line that began operations this month, it looks like the government is already on the move to introduce a second line. According to a news report by The Star, Transport Minister Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai was quoted to say that a second electric bus BRT line between Istana Negara and Klang is the works. The hope is to ease traffic congestion on the Federal Highway by allowing motorist an alternative to driving. But while the first BRT Sunway line that’s elevated above, the new line is expected to be on ground level. To do this, it’s been expected that road dividers would have to make way for the new bus-only lanes.
