Renowned Racing Driver Alex Yoong Joins iCarAsia
RencanaRenowned Malaysian racing driver Alex Yoong has joined iCar Asia in May 2015 in a move to further strengthen iCar Asia's fast growing role in the automotive content space in the region.
Yoong will play an important role in the video content space, regularly getting behind the wheel for test drives, reviews and entertaining segments for iCar Asia's leading automotive websites Carlist.my & LiveLifeDrive.com

Yoong is currently the reigning Audi R8 LMS Cup Asia Champion. He became the first Malaysian to race in Formula One starting at the 2001 Italian Grand Prix until end of 2002. The Kuala Lumpur-born talent then raced in A1 GP series from 2005-2008 and nailed four victories. Yoong also raced in Le Mans 24 Hours twice where he won Rookie of the Year. He was also the head of driver development for the Caterham F1 team. Other than racing, he still commentates on F1 with Fox Sports Asia.
