Petronas Dynamic Diesel Euro 5 Now Available In Klang Valley

Petronas today announced that the Euro 5-compliant Dynamic Diesel fuel is officially available in the Klang Valley.

The fuel will be available at six stations for now, namely:

• Petronas Technology Park Malaysia 1
• Petronas Mutiara Damansara (North-bound)
• Petronas NKVE (Damansara-bound)
• Petronas Solaris Putra,
• Petronas Solaris Serdang (South-bound)
• Petronas Sprint Highway

The company added that it has identified another 25 stations in the Klang Valley which will be offering the new diesel within this year. This is in addition to the two stations in Johor along the Pasir Gudang Highway 2 and in Gelang Patah, which were among the first to introduce the fuel in December 2014.

According to Petronas, the sulphur-free fuel enhances protection and efficiency of Euro 5 vehicles equipped with the latest exhaust after-treatment devices.

Mohd Ibrahimnuddin Mohd Yunus, Managing Director and CEO of Petronas Dagangan Berhad (PDB), said, “The Dynamic Diesel Euro 5 is developed through Petronas’ Dakar Rally experience to deliver engine protection, power restoration and cleaner combustion for superior fuel economy and protection allowing drivers to experience maximum performance from their engines.

He also commented that Petronas’ new offering aims at catering to the shift in consumer demand following the introduction of newer car models that would gain the most benefits from Euro 5 diesel.
