Utama Berita Berita Kereta Nissan's 'Brain To Vehicle' Technology Will Enable Your Car To Read Your Mind Nissan's 'Brain To Vehicle' Technology Will Enable Your Car To Read Your Mind Berita Kereta Gokul | January 05, 2018 04:09 PM Nissan has unveiled their latest research project called the ‘Brain-to-Vehicle’ (B2V) technology, which will enable vehicles to interpret signals from the driver’s brain, redefining how people interact with their cars.The technology, which is the first of its kind in the world, interprets the brain signals of the driver and allows the vehicle to predict the driver's actions in advance, and also mitigate to any discomfort experienced.By catching signs that the driver’s brain is about to initiate a movement – such as turning the steering wheel or pushing the accelerator pedal – driver assist technologies will begin the action more quickly, improving reaction times. “When most people think about autonomous driving, they have a very impersonal vision of the future, where humans relinquish control to the machines. Yet B2V technology does the opposite, by using signals from their own brain to make the drive even more exciting and enjoyable,” said Nissan executive vice president Daniele Schillaci.Other possible uses of the technology include adjusting the vehicle’s internal environment, said Dr. Lucian Gheorghe, senior innovation researcher at the Nissan Research Center in Japan, who’s leading the B2V research.
