New Colour Option For Honda Jazz, Base Model Jazz S Gets Minor Updates

Honda Malaysia has made some updates to the colour options for their segment-leading Honda Jazz - Carnival Red (R-513) will now replace Brilliant Sporty Blue Metallic (B-593M). 

Honda Malaysia said it expects to sell 200 unit of the just the Carnival Red coloured Jazz alone every month. Since its launch in July 2014, sales of the Honda Jazz have been averaging at around 1,450 units per month, with a cumulative sales of 26,126 units as of December 2015. Honda says the Jazz is the best-selling model in the B-segment hatchback class.

Meanwhile, the base model Jazz S variant (RM73,800 on the road) has been updated. The front grille is now painted in high-glossed black adorned with chrome plating while the door mirrors are now power adjustable for convenience. The rear number plate garnish is now chrome plated.

“We have observed that the Jazz is attracting a new group of young customers mainly tertiary students and young adults who are looking to own their first car. Research has shown that the colour red was depicted to be fresh, vibrant and young. We are pleased to introduce the Jazz in Carnival Red, which is a perfect combination of fun and practicality, and we are confident it will be able to meet our young customers’ requirements. The vibrant and striking colour complements the versatile lifestyle of the young customers perfectly,” said Honda Malaysia Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Yoichiro Ueno.

The other colour options available are Tinted Silver Metallic (NH-823M), Tafetta White (NH-578), Modern Steel Metallic (NH-797M), and Crystal Black Pearl (NH-731P).

The move comes after the introduction of Dark Ruby Red Pearl (R-525P) colour option for the City, replacing the model’s previous communication colour Brilliant Sporty Blue Metallic (B-593M).
