Utama Berita Berita Kereta MITI: Possible Collaboration With Qatar On Third National Car Project MITI: Possible Collaboration With Qatar On Third National Car Project Berita Kereta Siew Weng | January 29, 2019 10:02 PM At the ongoing World Economic Forum at Davos, Switzerland, Minister in the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) Datuk Darell Leiking took the opportunity to meet with his Qatari counterpart, H.E. Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari.The main objective of the meeting is to explore the possibility of having Qatar on board Malaysia’s third national car project. This is to leverage on Qatar’s investments in Volkswagen and Audi.Photo credit: Facebook page of MITIQatar positively welcomed the idea and reiterated on the need to deliberate the details of the joint manufacturing project.
