Of all the luxury nameplates on sale in the U.S., Lexus is the one that comes out on top when it comes to vehicle dependability - for seven straight years. In J.D. Power's annual Vehicle Dependability Study (VDS), four Lexus vehicles and two Toyota vehicles took top spots in their respective segments.

For Lexus, the RX earned its ninth VDS award; the GS earned its sixth VDS award; and the ES earned the Compact Premium Car award for the seventh straight year.

While Lexus may not be winning the popular vote when it comes to overall sales, those willing to put money down on the Japanese luxury brand's products may very well have the last laugh when it comes to the ownership experience.
