LEAKED: Are These Initial Specs Of The 2015 Mazda 3 SkyActiv CKD?

So, we’ve just been handed this treasure, of something that looks like initial specifications of the coming 2015 locally-assembled Mazda 3 SkyActiv.

Having spoken to Bermaz – official distributor of Mazda here – since we discovered this bit of information, it’s apparent that these specs are pretty accurate to the real deal that’s reported to make a local debut very soon, but they aren’t completely telling us everything about it.

First of all, only the Mazda 3 Sedan is listed here, in what looks like three possible variants of it: prices have strangely been blanked out from this document, but we’ve been told that the base model is expected to start from around the RM105k mark, while the high-spec variant of the Sedan may go all the way up to the current CBU from Japan’s RM138,966.

*UPDATE: The right-most column you see below details the Mazda 3 CKD Hatchback model: the hatch will only be available in one variant, mid-spec, and won't get as many bells and whistles as the high-spec sedan, but will have more to offer than the base Sedan variant. It is expected to be priced roughly the same as the high-spec sedan.
