Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-4 Spyder Set To Debut At Frankfurt

Set to make its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in just a few days is the Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-4 Spyder, a convertible version of the hardtop model that replaces its best-selling Gallardo.

Expect the same 5.2-litre naturally-aspirated V10 engine from the Huracan coupe to power the Spyder, with 610hp and 560Nm of torque on tap, and a 0-100 km/h sprint time hovering around the 3.2 seconds mark or slightly more.

What’s uncertain is the type of roof the Huracan Spyder will gain. Its predecessor (Gallardo Spyder) adopted a folding soft-top, but with its Italian rival, the new Ferrari 488 Spider opting for a more advanced folding hardtop, Lamborghini may consider fitting one as well.

Of course, Lamborghini understands the significant interest we have in any of its new models and as such, have posted these two teaser images of the Huracan Spyder which have been heavily blurred. Hey, at least we know it'll be blue.
