At the upcoming 2018 Kuala Lumpur International Motor Show (KLIMS), Lexus Malaysia has confirmed that they will preview both the all-new ES sedan and UX compact SUV.
The all-new Lexus ES is currently in its seventh-generation, built on the company’s excellent GA-K platform. Lexus offers a number of powertrains, including a hybrid powertrain with 218 hp which is available in Thailand and Japan. The all-new ES is also the first vehicle to trade its side mirrors for a pair of cameras, which Lexus dubs as Digital Outer Meter. This Digital Outer Meter is a Japan-only feature for the time being.
Apart from the all-new ES, Lexus Malaysia will also display the all-new UX, a compact SUV that slots below the NX. The little UX is set to compete against the BMW X1, Mercedes-Benz GLA, Volvo XC40, and MINI Countryman when it is introduced here.
The 2018 edition of KLIMS is set to happen from 23rd November till 2nd December, returning after a 5-year hiatus.
