Honda to unveil Civic Hatchback concept in Geneva
Berita KeretaWith the 2016 Geneva International Motor Show just around the corner, many manufacturers have started teasing whatever they are planning to bring to the event.
All set to take place from 3 to 13 March 2016, the expo will play host to numerous global, as well as European debuts.
That said, one of the upcoming launches that is expected to be among the highlights of this year, is the Honda’s Civic hatchback prototype.
In an effort to give us a glimpse at the things to come, Honda released a sketch of the five-door hatchback’s rear earlier today, and issued a press statement which revealed a few interesting details about the car.
From what we can see, the 10th generation Civic hatchback will feature a similar taillight design with the sedan which was revealed last September. Besides that, the rear end also features a pair of sporty tailpipes in the middle, and large vents in the rear bumper.
Honda said that the car, which will be on display alongside the Clarity Fuel Cell, the new Civic sedan, the new NSX, as well as a customized Jazz concept called the Keenlight, will be exported to global markets, including the US.
The company also added that the production version of the Civic hatchback will not be launched (in Europe) until early 2017.
As of now, no official announcements have been made on whether the new Civic hatchback will be offered here in Malaysia, but the sedan is definitely on its way here and could be launched sooner than many of us would’ve expected.
