Honda CR-V Hybrid Racer unveiled with a 2.2-litre twin-turbo hybrid V6
Berita KeretaThe Honda CR-V Hybrid Racer has been unveiled and it's been dubbed an "IndyCar Wolf in CR-V Clothing".
Built by Honda Performance Development (HPD), American Honda and Acura's North American racing arm, the project is a manic one to begin with where the project is being described as an 'IndyCar Beast' in the Honda CR-V 'sheep's clothing'.
While everything on the outside might look like a souped-up CR-V, underneath it all is nothing like what you think. Powered by a HI23TT 2.2-litre twin-turbo hybrid V6 engine that is planned to be used in the 2024 IndyCar series, it is said that the CR-V Hybrid Racer with the chromoly tube frame chassis is able to churn out a whopping 800hp.
Running exclusively on Shell's 100% renewable race fuel, the sixth-gen Honda CR-V is paired with a lower half made out of carbon-composite construction, a large rear wing, and butterfly half-cut doors. In other words, this is by far the craziest-looking Honda CR-V on the planet.
