Honda BR-V 2020 Gets 1,400 Bookings Within A Month

Malaysians seem to be regaining their appetite for purchasing new cars, with 1,400 potential owners putting money down to book the new Honda BR-V 2020.

That works out to roughly 47 bookings a day on average. With car sales having been slowed to a crawl throughout the MCO, the expected surge in sales is coming as dealerships and businesses begin to reopen. Honda Malaysia is benefitting from this increase in attention with a whopping 1,400 bookings for their new BR-V.

Since its launch in 2017, more than 32,000 people have taken ownership of the SUV-cum-MPV as a welcome alternative to the established players in the segment. The 7-seater’s popularity continues with this facelifted model, and over 85% of bookings were for the higher-grade V variant with the remainder being for the E variant.

As expected, the favourite colour for this new BR-V is Modern Steel Metallic (Malaysians love their whites, silvers, and blacks), with a 24% take-up among the bookings. Pricing starts at RM 86,726 for the E variant in a standard colour, and goes up to RM 93,693 for the V variant in White Orchid Pearl.
