GALLERY: 2016 Honda Accord Sedan And Coupe Revealed In Full

The 2016 Honda Accord was recently revealed in late July this year with a more Acura-esque styling and a host of new technologies. Now, Honda America has dropped several new photos of the new D-segment, in both sedan and coupe form, for all to have a closer look at it.

On the exterior, the Honda Accord’s features a more sharply creased and intricately structured front fascia. It also sports a new front grille, LED lighting, and aluminium wheels for all models and trims. The hood is now made out of aluminium as well to save about 8kg of weight.

The cabin receives an update as well with new trim pieces ranging from wood grain, carbon weave, glossy metallic black, and glossy piano black accents, depending on variant. The main highlight is a new seven-inch Display Audio touchscreen interface that features both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, HondaLink Assist, and HD Radio.

For the bits you can’t see, the new Accord’s chassis receives an update as well, now using an aluminium and steel front subframe to reduce weight. The suspension now offers a more dynamic ride as well with new dampers which are further upgraded to Amplitude Reactive Dampers with variable suspension stroke on higher variants. Larger brakes are also offered to go along with them.
