Ford Malaysia Announces Record Month And Quarter Performance, Offers Special Promotions On Select Models

Ford Malaysia today announced that it has managed to hit an all-time monthly performance record in Malaysia with retails sales hitting 1,818 units in March, a 46% rise from the previous month of February. That’s not all because the impressive performance caps an all-time record quarter for the company with sales increasing 24% from the previous quarter of 4,611 units.

The strong demand came in anticipation of the implementation of the Goods & Services Tax (GST) on April 1^st, 2015 with the Ranger, EcoSport, and Fiesta models leading the charge.

“We’re pleased that heightened March demand meant more and more customers were attracted to the leading safety, quality, smart technologies and value for money that our global Ford vehicles offer,” said David Westerman, managing director, Malaysia and Asia Pacific Emerging Markets, Ford Motor Company.

There was more good news to be had as well because Sime Darby Auto Connexion (SDAC), the official distributor of Ford vehicles in Malaysia announced recently that until April 30^th, 2015, special promotions will be offered at all Ford dealerships on the purchase of any Focus, Fiesta 1.5L and EcoSport Trend variants.

Those looking to purchase any Ford Focus will be pleased to know that a cash rebate of RM10,000 will be offered and for customers looking at the Fiesta 1.5L or EcoSport Trend variant, they will get a cash rebate of RM8,000.

All variants of the Focus, Fiesta and EcoSport come with Ford’s Extended Service Plan (ESP) which is a three-year or 60,000 km maintenance programme that covers parts and labour free of charge.
