ETCM Ramps Up Production Of All-New Nissan Serena

Edaran Tan Chong Motor Sdn Bhd (ETCM), the official distributor of Nissan vehicles in Malaysia has just announced that they will increase production of the all-new Serena to cope with the increased demand.

Since its introduction back in May, ETCM has received a total of 5,500 bookings, and the company has delivered 4,000 units as of 30^th October 2018.

Christopher Tan, Sales and Marketing Director of ETCM said, “This great achievement can be attributed to the spacious and comfortable cabin, along with the advanced safety features of the All-New Nissan Serena S-Hybrid such as 6 SRS Airbags, Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC), and Traction Control System (TCS), while the 13-seat configurations mode, Zero Gravity Inspired Seats, 2^nd row captain seats with dual armrest, and the 3^rd row sliding seats, are the core reasons why Malaysian families chose the Serena as their perfect 7-seater MPV. Our assembly plant (TCMA) has been focusing on increasing its production whilst ensuring the highest level of product quality, and continuously speeding the deliveries. To recap, the all-new Nissan Serena is powered by a direct-injection 2.0-litre MR20DD four-cylinder petrol engine that does 150 PS and 200 Nm, which is sent to the front wheels via a CVT-type automatic transmission. As before, the all-new Serena continues to be powered by the S-Hybrid micro-hybrid system, utilizing a pulley-driven starter-generator that contributes 2.6 PS and 48 Nm during initial acceleration from a standstill.

Two variants are available of the all-new Nissan Serena are available, including:

• Serena 2.0 S-Hybrid Premium Highway Star - RM 147,500
