ETCM Opens New Nissan 3S Centre In Taiping

Edaran Tan Chong Motor Sdn Bhd has officially launched a new Nissan 3S Centre in Taiping, marking its 19^th 3S facility within Malaysia and the second 3S Centre to be launched this year. 

As part of its network expansion to ensure customer ownership expectation levels are high and continue to be met at all levels, with the flagship Glenmarie 4S Centre due to be launched soon as well.

The new ETCM Taiping 3S Centre has a total area covering 17,846 square feet and is located strategically to provide service to many communities in the surrounding areas. The one-stop nature of the 3S centre offers potential and returning customers the ease of being able to test drive and purchase their next car or get them service and obtain spare parts.

All-told, ETCM had inject about RM800,000 into renovation work for the newly-designed facility. Its layout allows for a showroom area that can display up to eight vehicles within Nissan’s line-up. The service centre accommodates eight bays with the capacity to service up to 30 cars each day.

Among its key staff there are six highly trained and certified technicians and 14 Nissan sales professionals.

During the opening ceremony, Dato’ Dr Ang Bon Beng, Executive Director of ETCM said, “Taiping’s growth has been remarkable. Under the Northern Corridor Economic Region development, we have seen it thrive and attract not just tourists, but local and foreign investors as well. And with the rise of business opportunities and better infrastructure, a demand for passenger and commercial transport vehicles is also on the rise, hence it is crucial for us to make our presence felt in Taiping - and our responsibility to support Nissan owners and the community here with a Nissan 3S Centre.”
