DJ Khaled Joins Waze As Its Newest Celebrity Voice

One of the hottest names in music today, DJ Khaled, has joined Waze as its newest celebrity voice.

The DJ Khaled voice, which will be accompanying users throughout June on their “journey for greatness” will also feature words of advice such as “Stay focused”, “Don’t play yourself” and “The top’s off the maybach!” in typical DJ Khaled fashion.

Made available for Waze by popular music streaming app Deezer, the addition of DJ Khaled’s voice was also in conjunction with the launch of his newest album called “Father of Asahd”.

“DJ Khaled has one of the most recognizable voices in the music industry today, and is beloved by many of our 115+ million users around the world, so we can’t think of anyone better to safely and entertainingly guide Waze drivers on their journeys,” said said Adam Fried, Head of Global Partnerships at Waze.  

Besides DJ Khaled, Malaysian Wazers can also enjoy the voice of local motorsports queen Leona Chin which was launched on May 6.
