Could The Johor Royal Family Receive A Ferrari LaFerrari Soon?

Tunku Idris, who is the Tunku Temenggong of Johor recently posted this photo of a blue Ferrari LaFerrari along with the caption “Soon.” on his official Instagram account, possibly indicating that the highly exotic hybrid hypercar could very well be on its way to the Johor royal family.

This is certainly exciting news because only 499 LaFerraris will ever be built and should it become the latest addition in the royal family’s fleet of lust worthy vehicles where part of it was seen exiting the Shangri-La Hotel in Kuala Lumpur not too long ago.

Focusing our attention back on the Ferrari, and it is one stunning machine. The 6.3-litre naturally-aspirated V12 engine produces 789hp and 700Nm and is supplemented by a HY-KERS unit for a total output of 949hp and 900Nm of torque.

With a top speed exceeding 350 km/h and a century sprint time in under three seconds, the LaFerrari has has lapped the Italian carmaker’s Fiorano Test Circuit with a time of 1:19.70 which is faster than any other road-legal car Ferrari has ever produced.
