Continental Introduces 5-Year Warranty for Light Truck Tyres

Continental Tyre PJ Malaysia Sdn Bhd (CTM) has introduced an industry-first five-year warranty programme from date of purchase covering its range of passenger light truck tyres.

The programme covers all Continental, Dunlop, and Viking branded passenger light truck tyres bought from 1 Jan 2016 onwards and it replaces the existing programme which covers tyres, also for a span of five years, from date of manufacture.

All passenger light truck (PLT) tyres come with Continental’s global standard warranty of two years from the date of purchase by end customers. Warranty coverage from third and fifth year is subsequently undertaken by CTM.

Validity of the warranty is dependent on the tyre being officially sold in Malaysia within five years of its manufacturing date. It is also subject to adjustment based on the tyres remaining tread depth determined upon inspection by an accredited representative of CTM.

Customers are required to produce original receipts or any proof of purchase to make claims.
