BMW Malaysia Introduces The New BMW 320i Sport - RM 243,800.00

The elegant G20 3-Series was first introduced in Malaysia way back in April 2019 and was only available in 330i form. After seven months of only having this variant, BMW Malaysia today announced the arrival of the CKD 320i Sport, making it the most affordable 3-Series (G20) to date. 

Adding to their growing arsenal of CKD cars, the 320i Sport can be had for RM 243,800 and comes with 5 Years Unlimited Mileage Warranty, Free Scheduled Service Programme and BMW Tyre Warranty Programme.

Interested parties can purchase the 320i Sport through conventional ways or BMW Group Financial Services' Balloon Financing Plan, which offers the car through a monthly instalment plan of RM 2,788.00, based on estimates of an 80% loan on a five-year tenure.

The CKD BMW 320i Sport comes with an exciting front end, featuring a t-shaped fog light / Air intake combo. This design was initially developed by the National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics (NACA) for the intake air in jet engines and later became a feature of classic racing cars.

The variant is further equipped with sporty 18-inch light-alloy wheels in V-Spoke Style 780 Bicolour. Owners can also look forward to a lighter, more rigid vehicle as the total weight has been further reduced by 30 kg (kerb weight of 1,460 kg) thanks to its lightweight framework. 

Powering the sedan is a 2.0-litre TwinPower Turbo petrol engine, which is paired with an 8-speed Steptronic Sport transmission. The sports sedan is capable of generating a top speed of 235 km/h, with a maximum output of 184 hp and a peak torque of 300 Nm. The century sprint can be achieved in just 7.1 seconds. The New BMW 320i Sport only consumes 6.3 litres of fuel per 100 km and generates 144 g/km of CO2.

The cabin of the New BMW 320i Sport features three-zone automatic climate control, interior trim finishers in Aluminium' Mesheffect', complete with the exclusive Sport leather steering wheel which adds to the thrilling driving experience. 

BMW's Live Cockpit Plus is also included in the premium sedan, which combines an analogue instrument cluster with a 5.7-inch display and 8.8-inch touch-sensitive control display. 

A first in its segment, the new BMW 320i Sport offers an innovation called the Reversing Assistant. Through the assistance of sensors and Rear View Camera, the sports sedan can reverse itself through narrow streets which adds convenience when tackling those tight paths in reverse. 

This feature is powered by the BMW Operating System 6, which also powers the BMW Digital Key for next-level vehicle security and management. The BMW Digital Key employs Near Field Communication (NFC) technology that allows the new BMW 320i Sport to lock and unlock and even start the engine with the newest compatible cell-phones without needing a physical key. This feature is another first in class technology in the Malaysian premium automotive industry.

Adding onto the premium ownership experience, the BMW ConnectedDrive equips owners with Intelligent Emergency Call and Teleservices which reacts automatically if an accident occurs, quickly getting help for you and your passengers. 

The New BMW 320i Sport is offered in five colours, namely Mediterranean Blue, Black Sapphire, Alpine White, Mineral Grey and Sunset Orange, paired with premium Black Leather Vernasca upholstery. 

The New BMW 320i Sport will be available at the pop-ups, and all authorised BMW dealerships nationwide from 10th January 2020.
