Audi Unleashes The RS Q3 And RS Q3 Sportback
Berita KeretaAudi Sport has recently presented the new edition of the RS Q3 and also the RS Q3 Sportback, combining performance, athletic design, as well as maximum everyday usability.
On the exterior, both the RS Q3 and RS Q3 Sportback come with LED headlights, a gloss black 3D honeycomb front grille, RS bumpers with large side air inlets and boomerang-shaped blades, wheel arches that have been flared by an additional 10 mm compared to the regular Q3, 20-inch wheels, RS spoiler lips, and for the first time, dual-branch RS exhausts.
With its downward sloping coupe-like roof line, the RS Q3 Sportback, with a height of 1,557 mm, is actually 45 mm lower than the RS Q3, and features a rising shoulder line which is set further down than on the sister model, lowering the body’s optical center of gravity.
Powering both the Q3 RS and the Q3 RS Sportback is a 2.5-litre turbocharged TFSI engine which kicks out 394 hp and 480 Nm of torque, paired to a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox and the Quattro all-wheel drive system.
The powertrain enables the RS Q3 and RS Q3 Sportback to sprint from zero to 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds, and achieve a top speed of 250 km/h.
Via the MMI the driver can adjust and save the two RS modes individually. Simply pressing the new “RS Mode” steering wheel button provides rapid access to the two new modes and allows the driver to switch between modes.
As for the interior, the RS Q3 twins feature sport seats with RS emblems and contrasting stitching, Audi’s virtual cockpit instrument cluster in RS theme, the MMI touch display, special RS displays, entry lighting with Audi Sport projection in the doors, RS logos on the steering wheel and illuminated front door sill trims, and newly designed shift paddles with multifunction buttons.
Both the RS Q3 and RS Q3 Sportback are designed as fully fledged 5-seater models, with rear seats that can be moved fore-aft as standard by 150 mm in the RS Q3, and 130 mm in the RS Q3 Sportback. While the luggage compartment holds 530 litres, the figure rises to 1,525 liters (Sportback: 1,400 liters) when the rear seats are folded.
Available in 8 exterior colour options, the new Audi RS Q3 and RS Q3 Sportback will go for sale in Europe later this month.
