All-New 2018 Nissan Leaf Teased

Berita Kereta

Launched in 2011, the current generation Nissan Leaf is the world’s best-selling electric vehicle (EV). Over the years, Nissan has given Leaf several improvements, most notably an upgrade to a larger lithium-ion battery pack. In 2016, customers were given an option to choose either a standard 24 kWh battery or a 30 kWh battery.

An all-new Nissan Leaf is expected to be introduced later this year, most probably as a 2018 model when it goes on sale in major EV markets around the world.

Apart from this sold teaser image which shows the all-new Leaf’s LED headlamps, Nissan did not reveal much else. However, you can be certain the driving range will be significantly increased.

The outgoing Nissan Leaf has a claimed driving range of 200 km (New European Driving Cycle). Real-world driving range is around 150 to 170 km (with air-conditioning and headlamps in use). The all-new Nissan Leaf’s claimed driving range is expected to be in the range of upwards of 250 km.
