2017 Perodua Bezza Updated, Price Unchanged

The Perodua Bezza may be the company's newest member, having been around since July 2016. But that has not stopped Perodua from updating its first-ever sedan.

For 2017, the Perodua Bezza Premium X and Advance will receive new chrome platinum finish on the air-conditioning controls, replacing the silver trim on the old model. The range-topping Bezza Advance will also come with new leather seat design.

Visually, the updated Perodua Bezza receives a slightly revised rear bumper design. Now, the lower half of the bumper now sports a diffuser-like design, aimed to cover up the underneath of the Bezza.

Perodua did not mention whether or not equipment levels will be updated. All variants is expected to be offered with dual airbags, ABS, EBD and ISOFIX. The Bezza 1.3 Premium X adds front fog lights, front parking sensors, headunit with Bluetooth and USB and smart keyless entry. As for the range-topping Bezza 1.3 Advance, it should continue to offer side skirting, leather upholstery with leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio controls, infotainment system with Smart Link, rear view camera, Auto Start Stop, Electronic Stability Control, Traction Control, hill hold assist and brake assist.

The Perodua Bezza is powered by a duo of aluminium engines, namely a 1.0-litre KR-VE and 1.3-litre 1NR-VE. The former outputs 68 PS and 91 Nm, whilst the 1.3-litre unit does 91 PS and 121 Nm. 

As before, Perodua is offering five variants of the Bezza, namely the 1.0-litre A/T and M/T, the 1.3-llitre Premium X A/T and M/T and the 1.3-litre Advance A/T.
