2017 Jaguar F-Pace Awarded Two World COTY Awards

The Jaguar F-Pace had garnered two prestigious accolades, scooping up the 2017 World Car of Year and World Car Design of the Year titles. Jaguar’s premium SUV is only the second vehicle to claim the historic double win in the 13-year history of the World Car Awards.

The F-Pace saw off the competition in a vote of 75 influential motoring journalists from 24 countries. The awards brace is the first overall success for Jaguar at the World Car Awards, seeing off competition the likes of the Audi Q5 and Volkswagen Tiguan to claim the 2017 Car of the Year prize.

In the 2017 World Car Design of the Year category, the F-Pace saw off the Mercedes-Benz S-Class Cabriolet and Toyota C-HR to bag this year’s award.

The Jaguar F-Pace was launched locally in November 2016, and is available with a 3.0-litre supercharged V6 petrol engine, producing 340PS. The engine is paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission. Two trim levels are on offer – the Prestige and R-Sport, starting from RM598,800.
