2017 Infiniti Q60 Set For Malaysia Debut Next Month
Berita KeretaInfiniti Malaysia is set to debut the all-new Q60 very soon. The new model from Nissan's premium arm aims to challenge the BMW 4 Series and Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe.
According to sources, the upcoming compact executive coupe from Infiniti is expected to arrive in one trim level, very likely powered by a Mercedes-sourced 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged engine that sends 208 hp and 350 Nm to the rear wheels via a seven-speed automatic. 0 - 100 km/h is dispatched in just 7.4 seconds. The larger 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 could be offered later.
Equipment is unknown at this point of time, but looking at Infiniti Singapore's offering, their sole Q60 2.0t variant offers keyless entry and start, LED headlights and tail lights, LED front and rear fog lights, Around View Monitor, cruise control, dual-zone automatic air-conditioning, Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), 6 airbags and 19-inch alloy wheels. Elsewhere, the Infiniti Q60 2.0t also gets Infitini Drive Mode Selector, Active Noise Cancellation and Infiniti Intuition individual intelligent keys. It is possible that Malaysia-bound units could receive similar kit.
Seeing that its key rivals, both the BMW 4 Series Coupe and Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe is sold around the RM300,000 to RM388,000 mark, it is safe to assume that the new fully-imported Infiniti Q60 will have a price tag that is in the same ballpark. The previous Q60 retailed for RM411,138. On top of that, Infiniti Malaysia is likely going to back the Q60 with its 7-year warranty program.
