2016 Haval M4 Elite unveiled. Priced at RM74,950 and comes with 7-year unlimited mileage warranty.

GO Auto Sales Sdn Bhd, the authorised distributor of Haval vehicles in Malaysia today took the wraps off the latest variant of the Haval M4, called the Haval M4 Elite.

The M4 Elite is basically the Haval M4 with additional cosmetic updates and safety features, such as projector headlamps, LED daytime running lights (DRL), an Around View Mirror (AVM), a Digital Video Recorder (dashcam), new colours, as well as a new front grille which incorporates a new ‘Haval’ emblem.

Notable features in the M4 Elite include leather seats, cruise control, a touch-screen navigation system with DVD player and Bluetooth connectivity, an around-view monitor, and a rear-view camera with integrated SmartTAG reader.

Standard safety features on the other hand, include two airbags, ABS with EBD and brake assist, ESP, traction control and Hill Start Assist, Car Locating Function, Battery Alert Sensor, and Front Door Locking Error-Proofing function.

Priced at RM74,950 (on the road with insurance), the compact SUV, which is being assembled locally in Gurun, Kedah, is powered by a 1.5-litre VVT MPI four-cylinder engine which is capable of producing 105hp and 138Nm of peak torque. Paired to the engine is an AMT gearbox.

With the introduction of the Haval M4 Elite, the total number of variants for the Haval M4 model now stands at five, which are:

• Haval M4 Manual Premium – RM61,771
• Haval M4 AMT Comfort – RM61,950
• Haval M4 AMT Premium – RM67,950
• Haval M4 AMT Elite – RM74,950

According to GO Auto, Haval M4 Elite units that are purchased through official authorised channels will come with a 7-year unlimited mileage manufacturer’s warranty. Besides that, buyers who purchase the compact SUV from now until Sunday will also enjoy an insurance rebate or service voucher up to 25,000km.

On another note, GO Auto announced that it aims to sell 1,500 units of the Haval M4 Elite this year, and to further expand its dealership network from 21 outlets to 42 by end of 2017.
