2015 Volkswagen Beetle Club Edition Previewed At Pavilion KL, Limited To 50 Units

In conjunction with the Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week, Volkswagen Malaysia has previewed its new limited edition 2015 Volkswagen Beetle Club Edition at the entrance of Pavilion KL.

Although no prices have been announced yet, we do know that only 50 units of the Club Edition will be made available, making this a truly exclusive Beetle indeed.

Finished in a ‘Habanero Orange’ metallic body paint exclusive for the Club Edition, the Beetle also receives other additional exterior changes to distinguish it from a regular one. This includes the 17-inch “Ravenna” alloy wheels finished in sterling silver, and wing mirrors finished in black as well.

Inside, ‘Calypso Orange’ is featured on various pieces of interior trim and also on the seat upholstery as well. The dashboard and centre console gets a ‘Twist Wave Dark’ cubic film laid on top of it while the driver’s multifunction steering wheel gets ‘CLUB’ lettering at the bottom. Infotainment is handled by a touchscreen Composition Media unit.

Under the hood is the familiar 1.2-litre turbocharged four-cylinder TSI engine which develops 105 PS and 175 Nm of torque, mated to a seven-speed DSG dual-clutch transmission.
